My nephew Blayne is turning 1 this month and I wanted to send him something special. Ive had this idea of this turtle swimming in my head for a while now and then last night my mom gave me a big bag containing my Dad's old Ties. Perfect!! A little recycled fleece blanket and grandpa's Ties and Trevor the Turtle came to life. I love how he turned out! I hope Blayne does too!

Coming Soon! Trevor the Turtle!
The Bijou Market
I decided I needed more things than just kid's stuff, so, I whipped up some recycled sweater reversible fingerless gloves. Super warm and comfy.
The snakes were a big hit with the kid's! They kept walking off with them and their mom's had to bring them back. Although 2 mom's gave in!
I actually got invited to do 5 different shows!
My 15 minutes of fame!!
Here is a little sampling of all the sites that were kind enough to feature me these past months! I honestly cant remember or know about all of them, but here are the highlights!! Click on each of the Boots below to go to the featured link.
The Coterie blog did one of the first features and my only giveaway!
Photographer Nicole Hill Gerault was one of the first to blog about these. She recently took them on Studio 5 TV spot. Click on the Boots to see the show.
These were featured in Babble.com Holiday gift guide 2009!
and in Pepperblossomdecor.

15 minutes of fame sure is fun but its also makes one very tired!
Whew!!
This last few months has been a crazy baby bootie making blur!! I estimated the other day that Ive probably sewn over 75 pairs. Thanks to everyone for their support and excitement and of course orders!! It's been exciting and overwhelming. Special thanks to Ithinksew.com for such an awesome pattern.
